  1. To all Northpoint Cambodia Adventurers-
What a pleasure it has been, reading about your experiences in Cambodia. This is another Dyer writing to you - mother of your own Mr. Dyer. Our family visited Jeff in Cambodia exactly 7 years ago. I remember so well how overwhelmed I felt with the sights and sounds and smells on that first tuk tuk ride from the airport in Phnom Penh. After that our days were filled with the uniqueness of being in Cambodia - natural and man-made beauty, amazing sights, fascinating customs, rich and wonderful arts performances, all side by side with poverty and a horrifying history. Throughout our trip we were struck by the friendliness, kindness and generosity of the people. I remember having some of the same reactions as you have had seeing children on the streets. I always felt so happy when I would see children in uniforms, knowing that they were going to school. Thank you so much for your daily descriptions, and I look forward to more...
